Katherine's Story

Over 7 years ago I was going through a very difficult time of my life. I was having what seemed like the longest period of darkness that I had ever experienced, at first I thought i was having a nervous breakdown, nothing seemed right in my life.

Then along came my ex who I thought was an amazing guy, and in the end he started to show his real colours when we were alone. It got to the point where I didn’t trust my own advice when it came to seeing him for what really was an abusive controlling dog.

I took a stand against the wishes of my family and found the courage to get out of that relationship before it was too late.

Now looking back on that part of my life I know that no man will ever control me the way he did.
